In the beginning


The Art of Retreating was imagined during 2020 as a practical and resourceful guide to support our community during the upheaval of the world. We have collectively experienced unchartered territory which created uncertainty, chaos, and stress for ourselves and our families. By cultivating simple habits of self-care and love, stepping away from the day to day demands, the news, and our busy routine, life feels a little less daunting. We created a peaceful oasis and community to help restore our hearts and souls. Our mission is to share wisdom and experiences that replenish our inner resources, support our journey, and nourish our minds, bodies, and spirits. Welcome to our rooted heart community.
