What is a retreat? in the simplest form, it is the mindful intention to come back to ourselves. When we are being pulled in many different directions by the demands and activities that command our attention, our pure source energy is fractalized and dispersed out into the world. This energy, or light, is what we expend on the many things we do as we go about our days. Our inner light, potent and bright at its source, moves out towards the points of our attention, but rapidly dims as it moves further away from us, especially when circumstances require a high concentration of energy.
